Overwatch is currently one of the more popular games in the market right now. However just because it’s popular doesn’t mean that you will like it, and the bad news is that unlike other games which offers up trials, Overwatch does not which means that either you buy it and find out if you like it, or don’t.

Alternatively you could always wait for one of the free weekends which Blizzard has recently announced. Yup, if you’re interested in taking Overwatch for a spin, you’ll be pleased to learn that Overwatch will be having a free weekend on the 27th of July to the 31st of July. This means that players who don’t own a copy of the game will be able to get into it and enjoy it like a full game over that weekend.

As usual any progress that you’ve made will be saved, meaning that if and when you decide to come back to Overwatch, your progress will be saved and you can pick up where you left off. Blizzard does host free weekends from time to time which means that if you miss this particular weekend, not to worry as there will be another weekend to look forward to.

Blizzard has in the past stated that they might look into creating a trial version of Overwatch. That has yet to happen which means that for now, these free weekends are the only option you have, save for playing on a friend’s account.
