N97 And SE Satio Pulled From Stores
Posted on Nov 24, 09 07:46 AM PDT

With the recent dominance of Apple’s iPhone OS and Google’s Android, Symbian certainly doesn’t want any setbacks, but it seems unfortunate that a setback is what has happened. Reports are filtering that Nokia’s N97 and Sony Ericsson’s Satio have been pulled off the shelves due to quality concerns. Folks who try and buy the N97 online via Vodafone UK are redirected to the N97 mini, which is apparently more stable. The Satio on the other hand seems to shut down when users try and launch certain apps, and it seems that there isn’t a downloadable fix just yet. If these problems are down to Symbian’s OS, it’s certainly a cause for concern. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see what the official word on this is, but till then, it seems that the Satio wouldn’t be the best phone to buy just yet.
