Those in the market for an entry-level GPS receiver should place the Mio C220 on their watchlist. It comes with a 3.5″ LCD display and a SiRFStar III GPS receiver, presenting turn-by-turn directions in either English, Spanish, or French. The Mio C220 will ship with the latest maps available in the market, and at the relatively low price of $250, virtually everyone can own a GPS receiver now whether they need it or not. Unless you travel often though, I don’t really see the point of picking up a GPS receiver unless you want to go on a Point-of-Interest outing with your family during the upcoming summer.
