More on HTC Iris

The upcoming HTC Iris is said to reside in the mid-range spectrum of things, but it will feature some advanced specifications in a simple yet functional package. Also known as the S640, the HTC Iris comes with a 2.4″ LCD display (no touchscreen here folks), built-in WiFi connectivity, an integrated GPS receiver, a 2 megapixel camera, and a miniUSB connection. As with other upcoming HTC smartphones, it would be no surprise if the Iris does run on Windows Mobile 6. There is no word on a release date, but word on the street has it that the Iris will hit CDMA-based networks by the end of 2007.
