Sony VAIO EC specifications updated

One must wonder whether the executives from Sony borrowed a page from Asus’ book by convoluting the naming convention of the once simple-to-understand VAIO line? Apart from the VAIO EB which was unveiled a few weeks ago, along comes the VAIO EC which sports improved specifications including a scratch resistant HD LCD display, the latest Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, up to 6GB RAM, up to 1TB of storage space, eSATA capability, a quartet of USB ports, ATI-powered graphics and a multi-touch touchpad.
