Sony Japan has decided to push back the release of BRAVIA NX800 series HDTVs, particularly the 40? (KDL-40NX800) and 46? (KDL-46NX800) models. Those two will not make it in time for the April 30th release date, where the former will instead hibernate in Sony’s headquarters for another 20 days, while the latter will only hit the market on June 10th. The reason behind this is cited as “the demand exceeded the original anticipated supply of key components.” Strangely enough, the 52? (KDL-52NX800) and 60? (KDL-60NX800) NX800 models have already shipped on SonyStyle USA without any hitch. Why do you think this is so?
