While most companies would be overjoyed at high demand it seems like the folks over at Spotify received too much of a good thing. The latest Spotify update, 0.4.3, which adds social functionality and the ability to play MP3s from your hard drive, was pulled from the site due to overwhelming demand. The 0.3.23 update is currently listed on the site, but that’s not what you’re looking for, right? Of course, you do have an alternative until the company decides to put it back up. If your friend has downloaded it, you can always ask them to send it over to you, considering the update is pretty small at 4MB. Alternatively you could seek out some folks who have uploaded the update online, but do bear in mind that downloading random programs off the Internet isn’t very safe, and we don’t recommend it if you aren’t sure what you’re doing.
