
Toshiba has just announced its latest line of Satellite Pro models that are powered by Intel’s Core i3 and i5 processors, or a dual-core AMD Athlon II processor. Updated models include the 15.6-inch C650/C650D, L650/650D, the 13.3-inch L630 and the 17.3-inch L760/760D. The “D” suffix on the notebooks indicate the presence of the aforementioned Athlon II processor. There isn’t any mention or pricing of the US availability just yet, but these should be hitting Europe, the Middle East and Africa sometime in Q2 this year. Specifications of these notebooks include:
- Intel Core i3, i5 or dual-core AMD Athlon II processor
- 1600 x 900 or 1366 x 768 resolution LED backit display
- Mobility Radeon graphics chip or integrated Intel GMA HD graphics
- Up to 8GB of RAM
- Optional Blu-ray burner
- Wi-Fi
- Up to 500GB hard drive
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
