A Korean company, Hankuk Relay, has showcased some interesting technology at ENTECH 2010, namely the company’s new wind lightings and a solar light tracer system. The wind lightings include a range of wind turbines that will respond to the lightest winds to generate renewable electricity, making it suitable for locations that have little sound pollution, such as parks and pathways. The solar light tracer system is a device that aims to improve the power efficiency of solar panels, allowing them to spin along with the sun’s movement, allowing the solar cells to generate a good 1.5 times more energy. This technology can be applied to hybrid street lamps or even solar-powered street lamps.
