Word is out that a Windows Phone 7-powered LG phone will be hitting Sprint’s 4G network and will be the first non-Android phone to run on Sprint’s WiMAX network. It wasn’t explicitly mentioned which phone this could be, but based on existing leaked information, the possible candidate would be the LG Apollo, also known as the E900, which should support CDMA and EVDO for Sprint’s network, though there hasn’t been any mention of 4G before this. The E900 should include a 1.3GHz Snapdragon CPU with a 10-megapixel camera, which would position it as one of Sprint’s high-end devices, increasing the appeal of Sprint’s WiMAX network.
