Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is one of the more popular subjects this week, though one thing that many folks out there are wondering about is its price. If the rumors are accurate, we’re in for a spot of bad news, as word is going around that the 16GB version of the Galaxy Tab might be going for EUR699 ($896), which is similar to Apple’s 32GB iPad 3G, despite using a smaller display. Aside from that, the price of EUR799 ($1,025) was also mentioned by some parties, with British retailer Expansys listing it at GBP680 ($1,048), which is comparable to Apple’s 64GB iPad 3G. Despite Apple’s iPad lacking front and back cameras and a memory card slot, it’s still the tablet to beat at the moment, and if these rumored prices are close to being accurate, then the Galaxy Tab might be facing an uphill battle to topple the iPad.
