According to Akihabaranews, Sanwa has rolled out a peripheral that comes in the form of a multitouch mouse, but it will not play nice with Apple’s computers, working on the PC platform instead. While it does offer a multitouch surface on top, the MA-TOUCH1 as it is called will not be connected to your computer via Bluetooth, but rather “talk” over a wireless radio frequency instead. Features include four-direction scrolling and two-fingered swipe support, the customary left and right clicks. You can choose from black, red, silver, and white shades to suit your notebook or netbook. Even Apple’s brand name failed to make the Magic Mouse a resounding success, so we definitely have much lower hopes for Sanwa’s offering to make a ripple in the wide, wide world of consumer electronics.
