We know for a fact that the male mind is a poor multi-tasker, but women who are far more capable in this department too must realize that there are limitations to their multi-tasking abilities, even more so when it comes to driving since not only your life but that of your passengers and the other road users are at stake here. A proposed road train system in Europe will soon be able to let users enable their cars do the driving while they relax on the journey or attend to other work. Known as SARTRE or “Safe Road Trains for the Environment”, it will see long convoys of cars that essentially drive themselves. Your vehicle will coordinate with a leader or other members of a convoy, leaving the control of your vehicle over to the system. What happens when someone hacks the network – will you realize it before being whisked away to a different location as a ransom victim?
