NFC chips aren’t new, but with Google’s latest Nexus S phone featuring a built-in NFC chip, we might see increased support for NFC devices this year. Now it seems that LG wants to join the party too as its L-07C has paid a visit to the FCC bearing an NFC chip inside it. Specific details on this phone weren’t mentioned, but speculation is that it might be the LG Pecan, a phone that is rumored to be powered by Android, support NFC and will be priced around $200. With Mobile World Congress just around the corner, it’s widely expected that LG will unveil this phone at the event, so stay tuned!
