Why knot?

What happens when you have too much time on your hands and you want to make a statement? You create a sculpture of course! And that’s what Seth Goldstein, a sculptor did. Call it silly, call it a waste of time, but one thing you can’t deny is that it is ingenious. The sculptor managed to create a machine that continually ties and unties a necktie. Why anyone would do such a thing is beyond my grasp, but hey – if you can do something, why knot? And that folks, is the title of the video demonstration of his contraption in action. Who would’ve thought wearing a tie would be this complicated? Check out the video after the break:
