Desert Winds

Qualcomm, the manufacturers of the popular Snapdragon processors that are used to run Android phones, has recently released a teaser video to show off their upcoming dual-core processors. Called Desert Winds, the game shows off the graphic processing prowess of the next generation Snapdragon CPUs. Their dual-core processor features the Adreno 220 graphics processor that is capable of more 3D effects, smoother stereoscopic HD gaming, and is touted to be power-efficient as well. Qualcomm has been late to the dual-core scene, but the teaser shows us that what they have in store for us is worth the wait. In the near future they will also be promoting premium content that’s been optimized to run on their processors.
