Sprint has just added a new addition to its lineup of mobile hotspot devices. Called the Wireless Overdrive Pro from Sierra, this mobile hotspot gives Sprint users 3G/4G connectivity to their WiFi devices. A successor to the first Overdrive Pro, this new version offers connectivity to up to 8 devices simultaneously, and has a larger LCD screen but a smaller overall size. It has an improved performance – it powers up and powers down 35% faster, and its LCD display shows more information than before. The Overdrive Pro requires activation on a Sprint 3G/4G Mobile Broadband Plan and can work on Sprint’s 4G WiMAX or 3G CDMA network. It will be available on sale this Sunday, March 20 for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2 year contract.
