Facebook “awesome” launch happening today

Last week we reported that Facebook will be announcing “something awesome” this week, and it looks like today’s the day. According to invitations sent out by Facebook, today will be the day of the announcement. At 10am PT (that’s about an hour away from time of me writing this, Facebook will be launching something interesting to the whole world. While we have no idea what it is, yet, there are plenty of rumors going around to what it may be.

Skype integration? Group chats? A new mobile platform? A new iPad/iPhone app? Or perhaps even the super photo sharing app? Fortunately for us, we can find out together with the whole world. Facebook will be broadcasting the event live from its Facebook Live page (click the Facebook Live tab), though you can also hit the break to check out the embedded live stream of the video. It’s happening very soon, so set those alarm clocks and grab some pop corn. Hopefully it’ll live up to the hype.
