With digital maps and navigation systems, does anybody actually use physical maps anymore? Perhaps for nostalgic reasons, or perhaps you prefer having a physical map framed in your room, marking out the places that you have been, along with places that you want to go. If that is the case, perhaps it’s time to ditch the marker pens and pins and go high-tech (sort of) with these LED wall maps.

The map will come in two flavors – one of the US and the other being a world map. The map also reportedly features holes in each of the cities in the US and the world, although we’re guessing the world map will only feature major cities and won’t be as detailed as the US map. These holes are said to be able to power LED lights, which are available in a variety of colors, so you can use it to decorate your map with and to mark all the places that you have gone. Blinking LED markers are also supposed to be available, and they can be used perhaps to mark the start/end of your journey, or perhaps you prefer to have an entire map made out of blinking LED markers.

The map measures at 35.5-inces (W) x 24.5-inches (H) x .75-inces (D) each and includes a power adapter with a 9-foot cord, 100 LEDs in a variety of colors, and they come available in either a black powder-coat aluminum frame for $199.99 or a burled wood frame for $249.99, and they are available at LEDMaps.com.
