For those who have yet to experience the fun and mayhem that is Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros, it’s basically an all out fighting game that takes some of Nintendo’s classic characters such as Mario, Pikachu, Link from Zelda, Kirby, etc and pits them against each other in single and multiplayer mode with up to four players. However if the rumors have it right, Sony could be releasing something similar using some of their own iconic characters.

Rumor of this game has been talked about quite a while back, but thanks to leaked internal screenshots (as pictured above) and various data that seems to collaborate the rumors, it looks like this game could indeed be for real although there’s no mention as to when the game could possibly be released.

The game has been given the code name Title Fight and is reportedly being developed by SuperBot Entertainment, an exclusive developer for Sony Computer Entertainment. Word has it that they are also working on a PS3 exclusive as they have been looking to employ individuals with experience working on fighting games.

According to The Paul Gale Network, some of the characters that will be making an appearance in this alleged fighting game include Kratos (God of War), Parappa the Rapper (Parappa the Rapper), Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Sly Cooper (Sly Cooper), Fat Princess (Fat Princess), Colonel Mael Radec (Killzone) and Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal). The final roster is also said to include more than twenty characters.

What do you guys think? Would a Sony Smash Bros styled game be something you would be interested in? Given the more “serious” and somewhat “darker” image that Sony’s characters portray, it would be interesting to see them go up against each other in a brawl.
