Yahoo! Messenger for Windows updated

Great news for fans of Yahoo! Messenger – Yahoo! has just announced the launched of an updated version of its popular instant messaging client for Windows. The latest version features many new improvements that have been requested by its users. First of all the app has been given a facelift with the introduction of Tabbed IMs. No longer will users have to keep multiple windows open – just one will do, with different conversations appearing as tabs that can be selected at the bottom of the window.

Another feature that has been added is improved spam management – users can now decline multiple invitations from random strangers with a single click. There are new social games available, easy access to recent contacts, smart archiving to make looking up old IM conversations easier, snap and share (screenshot your desktop and share it), quick access to all emoticons, and support for Romanian.
