Razer TiamatRemember the Razer Tiamat 7.1 headphones that were announced back in August? Well, it looks like it’s not going to be arriving in time to fill those Christmas stockings this holiday season. The 7.1 surround sound headset was initially scheduled to arrive in stores in the fourth quarter of this year, but according to an announcement on the official Razer blog, it’s only going to be available at the end of January 2012.

No specific reasons were mentioned about the headset’s delay, but Razer did mention that it is “putting final touches to perfect this headset” so that your ears can get blown away. However, to make things better, Razer has mentioned that it will be giving away a coupon code for a free Razer T-Shirt and Razer flask when the Tiamat 7.1 is available – just add your details to the Notify Me list on the Razer Tiamat site. Anybody upset by this delay?
