SkyDrive app for iOS and Windows Phone releasedGood news for SkyDrive users. If Microsoft’s cloud-storage service is your weapon of choice when it comes to keeping your documents online, you now have an additional way to access it while on the go. Today Microsoft announced the launch of its SkyDrive app for iOS and Windows Phone devices. Previously WP users already had SkyDrive integration with their apps on the phone, but they had no way of managing their accounts like they did on the desktop. The SkyDrive app changes that.

iOS users also had SkyDrive access but only through the HTML5 website – the SkyDrive app makes it more convenient and faster to access on their iPhones. The app is available now on the Windows Marketplace (Windows Phone 7.5 Mango required) and the Apple App Store (iOS 4.0 required). Check out the video demonstrations below:
