BlackBerry Porsche P’9981 available for pre-order now

If you’re a fan of the BlackBerry Porsche P’9981 phone or you’ve got some money to blow and you don’t know what phone to spend it on we’ve got some good news for you. The specially designed BlackBerry phone, the Porsche P’9981 is now available for pre-orders. All you have to do is head down to your local Porsche Design store in the US to place your order. The phone will set you back a hefty $1,700 – which is more than what most people are willing to pay for a smartphone so I’m guessing it’s not going to sell like hot cakes.

The Porsche P’9981 features a forged stainless steel frame, a hand-wrapped leather back, a sculpted QWERTY keyboard, BlackBerry 7 OS, a 1.2GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera, a 2.8″ display and NFC. If you’re willing to spend that much on a fancier BlackBerry Bold 9900, you can pay a visit to your local Porsche Design store today. However if money is an issue for you, I guess you could always settle for a Porsche P’9981 theme on your BlackBerry.
