There are tons of iOS speaker docks out there, but a speaker dock with a built-in projector is rare, if it even exists at all. Perhaps it’s the rarity that has prompted designer Chen Nanyu to come up with a concept design of a speaker dock for iOS devices that comes with a built-in projector, which we have to admit is a pretty clever design. The thing about most pico-projectors is that while they’re great for on-the-go presentations, sometimes the audio can be a bit spotty coming from your laptops or smartphones or tablets, so the addition of a speaker is surely a welcome feature.

The design itself, while not really following in Apple’s design philosophy, is pretty good. It looks sleek and based on the rendering above, it appears that it is possible to connect an external audio source via the 3.5mm audio jack, along with micro USB connectivity. It even comes with a wireless remote control of its own. What do you guys think? Would a speaker dock with a built-in projector be a product you’d be be interested in purchasing?
