According to a screenshot leak, it looks like Nokia could be launching a new app for their Lumia devices called Nokia TV. According to the information surrounding the leak, the app is expected to debut in Finland and will allow Lumia owners access to television channels that they can watch via their mobile devices over a WiFi or data network by searching, browsing and streaming the episodes. The app is also expected to be released with three channels accompanying it: YLE, MTV3 and Nelopen.

Some of the features of the app also includes the ability to download the shows to their mobile devices, presumably for offline viewing, and that it does not use the same technology as mobile TV (DVB-H). At the moment it is unclear if this will be a free or paid service or if it will be available outside of Finland, but safe to say that the TV channels available will be localized depending on the region if it were ever to be released. This on top of Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps and Nokia Music will certainly add on to the appeal of owning a Nokia Lumia device. However until we hear official word from Nokia themselves, we will be taking this with a grain of salt for now.
