Industry insiders as well as the general public who have kept up with the news surrounding Japanese tech giant Sony would know that this is one ailing company, having lost too much of their focus by broadening their reach into various markets over the years. Well, it is never too late as long as someone at the helm does something to arrest the decline, and new Sony CEO Kazuo Kirai intends to explain his turnaround plan for the struggling company at a special event that is happening this April 12. It is rather strange that instead of thriving over the past decade, Sony has instead seen their market share eaten into by Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, LG and the like. It would be interesting to see and hear just what Kazuo Hirai has in store for Sony when April 12 rolls around – will we see the next generation PlayStation announced instead? Hopefully Kazuo Hirai will be able to, in a sense, tackle this “boss level” situation that Sony is experiencing at the moment for a breakthrough.
