Take note of this name – Joshua Michael Stern – as he will be directing the upcoming indie pic ‘Jobs’. The name of the film itself gives the game away, as we all know that it has something to do with the life of the late Steve Jobs. As for the A-List actor who has been selected to play Jobs? He is none other than Demi Moore’s ex beau, Ashton Kutcher. The widely proclaimed King of Twitter will soon be the King of Apple, as the “Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher will act out the lines from a script by Matt Whiteley. Just which part of Jobs’ life will the film concentrate on? It seems that it will chronicle Steve Jobs’ days from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple, ending up worshipped by some as THE creative entrepreneur of all time. It would be interesting to see whether this indie flick will do better than what Sony Pictures has lined up, where the latter is working on their very own Steve Jobs movie which is based on the bestselling book by Walter Isaacson. Which do you think will have more ‘soul’?
