About a week ago, it seems that Samsung had filed for the trademarks to the names Galaxy Sire, Galaxy Perx and Galaxy Lift. The trademarks were filed under the “Mobile phones; Smartphones” category, so while details surrounding the device are practically non-existent, at the very least we know that we can expect them to be smartphones instead of a tablet. Naturally Samsung has yet to make any announcements regarding the recent trademark filings, and for all we know they might never be used, or they could end up being carrier versions of the same device (i.e. the Galaxy S2 has been given different names for the different carriers it has launched on). In any case it looks like we have three new names to add to our watch list, so check back with us from time to time for more updates.
