There are plenty of third-party app stores available for Android, and while getting your apps from Google Play would be the best and probably safest solution, other app stores could also means that you might chance across an interesting app. In any case if a third-party Android app store is of interest to you, GameFly (the American online video game rental service) has announced that they will be launching an Android app store of their own in hopes to compete with Google Play. According to the company’s co-founder, Sean Spector:

With its large social network for gamers, game discovery will also be made easier via friend recommendations, and ratings and reviews from fellow gamers.”
