According to a Windows insider, Microsoft is looking forward to integrate Flash directly into Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8 . The insider, who goes by the name Canouna, boldly stated that Adobe Flash player is included in the Release Preview. “#Microsoft? ?#Windows8? Release Preview public download = 1st June,” Canouna tweeted. Ars Technica explains that Microsoft’s browser will come in two guises – a traditional desktop browser with full support for plug-ins and extensions, and a new Metro-style browser that will be plug-in free. The browser will reportedly include an integrated and embedded version of Adobe Flash but will be limited to those included on an alleged list.

Video sites such as Hulu, YouTube, and Vimeo, news sites including CNN, the BBC, and Wired, and a number of entertainment and gaming sites including Facebook and Zynga are reportedly included on the list. Flash-based interactive content on these sites will work in the Metro-style browser and Flash content on other sites will require the use of the desktop browser, Ars Technica added. Last month at the Windows 8 Developer Days Conference in Japan, Microsoft announced that it will be launching the much-awaited Release Preview version of Windows 8 in the first week of June. So today’s update from the insider isn’t that surprising. But if Windows 8 will indeed integrate Flash into Windows 8, it will be very exciting.
