When Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S3, one of the device’s more intriguing accessories was its wireless charger. Unfortunately if that was one of the accessories you were planning on getting along with your brand new handset, you’re out of luck. UK retailer Mobile Fun has confirmed that the wireless charger will be delayed and will not be released alongside the Galaxy S3, but exactly how much of a delay are we looking at here? A week or two? Try several months.

Samsung hasn’t said anything about the delay so far nor have they given their reasons, but if you don’t mind third-party wireless chargers, Mobile Fun is reportedly looking for third-party alternatives in an effort to appease those who are buying the Galaxy S3. We’re not sure how successful they will be in their search efforts but for the sake of our friends and readers in the UK, we hope that they find something soon! We’re not sure if this delay will affect those of us stateside but hopefully it will resolve itself by then.
