If you’re looking for a dictation app to be used on your Mac computer, Philips might have something for you. Dubbed the SpeechExec4Mac, it is expected to be used in conjunction with the DPMConnect4 Mac software which will allow users of the Philips Digital Pocket Memo to download their dictations to their company’s network which will then play back on Mac computers. According to Philips, the SpeechExec4Mac will support the DSS Pro file format from all International Voice Association vendors on the Mac platform. It is also an open system that allows users to choose their individual workflow settings. More information on Philips’ SpeechExec4Mac can be found on its website. It is also expected to be available mid-June 2012 and will be shipped on all SpeechExec DVDs that come bundled with the Digital Pocket Memo package.
