Yahoo! has just revamped their Mail program, where the Photos app has been introduced this time around. The Photos app will default to the most recent photos as always, but if you want to check out your older memories in a digital manner, all you need to do is pick “Sort by: Oldest.” If you want to share your photos with family and friends, just do so by sending them as an attachment in Yahoo! Mail, or take the option of posting your photos to Flickr perform the sharing from right there. If you do are not a Flickr user, that is no issue, as Yahoo! will allow you to create an account right from Yahoo! Mail itself. Current Flickr users can always connect your Flickr account to your Yahoo! Mail inbox.

Some of the key features of the new Photos application include the ability to skip out the search process where you can locate all your photos in a single place, not to mention share your favorite digital memories in seconds, and even look up the associated email without missing a beat. Sorting is also done in a jiffy, where it is easier to sort and filter photos and attachments by sender, date, size or file type. If you still cannot locate the Photos app, just check out the lower-left side of Yahoo! Mail in the Applications area.
