So you are a busy bee who figured out that carrying a dual SIM phone is more ideal instead of toting two separate handsets, running the risk of losing one of them since there is an additional device for you to keep track of. Well, with the Motorola Motokey EX117, do not be surprised if you start to get your contacts all jumbled up as this is a triple SIM phone. It might seem like overkill, but I guess there is a market for it, otherwise Motorola would not have churned out something like this. I do admit that from the design point of view, the Motorola Motokey EX117 is suspiciously similar to the Nokia E71 and E72 smartphones – what do you think?

Triple SIM would mean the Motorola Motokey EX117 carries a trio of SIM cards, where it will see action in Brazil and Canada at the moment. No idea on whether it will ever make its way Stateside, if ever. Features include a full QWERTY keyboard, a dedicated Facebook button for those who are social network junkies, a 2″ display at a paltry 220 x 176 pixels, an FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 2-megapixel camera, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. What, not ever a 3G radio is inside? I guess this non-Android handset would occupy the entry level range of devices, and most probably developing countries are its target market. Bookies would find this handset useful…
