Ahead of its official rollout on Thursday, November 5, early hands-on video footage has leaked comprehensive specifications for the upcoming Motorola Signature 27. The new flagship smartphone stands out primarily for its advanced display capabilities, boasting an estimated peak brightness of up to 12,000 nits.

The device features a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo display utilizing Tandem OLED technology, which stacks multiple diode layers to significantly enhance contrast and overall brightness. Similar advanced panels have appeared in select high-end devices like Apple’s MacBook Pro and the Honor Magic 6 RSR. The panel also supports a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology, paired with gently curved glass edges and a textured dual-tone rear finish.

Under the hood, the Motorola Signature 27 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, backed by 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. To maintain optimal performance during heavy usage, the hardware is cooled by a vapor chamber that is 40% larger than previous generations.

The camera configuration includes a 50 MP LYTIA 910 main sensor, a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, and a specialized action sensor designed for capturing fast-moving objects. While the exact battery capacity was not specified in the leak, the smartphone runs Android 17 out of the box, supported by Motorola‘s commitment to seven years of major operating system upgrades.

For interested buyers in the US market, registration are now officially open.
