Nikon Coolpix S6400 revealed to be 19.8mm at its thinnestFor those looking for a digital camera to take with them on holiday and don’t need all those high-end features and just want something simple but compact, then Nikon’s recently announced Coolpix S6400 might be a camera worth taking a look at. Sporting a 16MP image sensor, the Coolpix S6400 will feature 12x optical zoom, great for zooming in on faces and objects, and a 3” touchscreen display on its back. One of its key features would probably be its thinness in which the thinnest part of the body measures about 19.8mm thin, not too shabby, right?

It comes with lens-shift Vibration Reduction, Easy Panorama, Auto HDR technology, Full HD video capture, and for the video enthusiast, it comes with a dedicated movie-record button and a Record Pause function that lets you pause the video while recording, and resuming where you left off later. This saves you from having a ton of different video files stored on your camera. The Coolpix S6400 will come in five different colors – black, red, silver, purple and blue. In the meantime if you’d like to check out Nikon’s other offerings, we have also reported on the Nikon S800C, the P7700 and the S01. [Press release]
