When RIM announced Blackberry 10, the company introduced a brand new UI which made the interface more modern, a move which we’re assuming was made to appeal to current smartphone owners of Android or iOS devices. One of them was the Blackberry 10’s lockscreen and if you’ve seen the Blackberry 10 lockscreen before and thought that it was a pretty cool feature, you might be interested to learn that a mod for Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich based Android devices is available for download that will emulate the lockscreen style of Blackberry 10. Basically it’s a lockscreen that unlocks the phone by swiping the finger up, in which a curtain-like effect slowly reveals the home screen behind. Granted it’s merely an aesthetic thing, but we guess that there are features from other platforms that some would love to have on their Android devices. The mod can be found in the source link below at the XDA forums, so pop on over for the download and additional details!
