We’re sure many iPhone 5 owners are eagerly awaiting an untethered jailbreak solution, and unsurprisingly many are expecting the Chronic Dev Team to be the one who delivers the goods. After all they have had pretty decent success with iOS devices in the past, so why wouldn’t they be able to deliver for the iPhone 5, right? While the Chronic Dev Team are still working on an untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5, a team of jailbreakers called the Dream JB have come forward and claimed that they will be able to offer an untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5 on the 22nd of December. The team has launched a website and in the latest update, they promise to show proof that they are able to deliver as promised! The group has also addressed the disbelief, saying it was ridiculous that just because they weren’t part of the Chronic Dev Team that they wouldn’t be able to come up with a jailbreak. Of course we will be waiting until the 22nd of December to see if they are able to keep their promise, so check back with us then for the updates! In the meantime you can head on over to their website to read their FAQ or check on the status.
