Well, that is because this is no mirage, and you are not imagining things despite being extremely dehydrated, as the Scosche boomBOTTLE functions as a wireless omnidirectional outdoor speaker complete with weatherproof housing, and it has been specially designed to fit in majority of the water bottle cages in the market, allowing it to stream music during your activity in the great outdoors.Basically, it will work with just about any Bluetooth-enabled device that has musical playback, letting you enjoy your favorite tunes on the go, while sharing them with others around you, too. Sporting dual 40mm drivers that deliver rich, deep audio with amplified acoustics, the integrated passive subwoofer comes with a ported enclosure for enhance bass performance. It is said that the boomBOTTLE’s built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, and has a connectivity range of 33 feet.

Since it is IP4X rated, it should be more than live up to the rigors of the great outdoors, brushing off unexpected weather conditions, sweat and other kinds of moisture without batting an eyelid. There is a top flap that opens up to reveal safely hidden charging and audio ports. It would be cooler if this thing held some water though, so to place it in your bicycle’s water bottle cage, where would you carry your water supply with you then?
