G-Form is a company who are probably well known for their extreme videos where they drop iPhones and iPads from ridiculous heights and situations, usually protected with the company’s Xtreme series of cases. However it looks like they might be getting a run for their money because a Kickstarter project for a product called mentalKase demonstrates an iPhone being dropped from 6,000 feet – and surviving! It’s not the most attractive case, although that isn’t surprising considering that other cases that offer similar protection aren’t necessarily the prettiest to look at either. Its creators state that the case is made from “high quality, durable, shock resistant and antimicrobial foam rubber” which apparently is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics. The mentalKase is a currently a Kickstarter project with only 3 days left to go, but if you’re interested in checking it out, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
