xbox 500We have heard our fair share of rumors where the next generation Xbox is concerned, and for the moment, the name Xbox 720 will have to stick, at least until the good people over at Microsoft have something more interesting to share with the adoring masses. There are also whispers of a subscription-based model that will go for $300 a pop, although Paul did not elaborate on just exactly what the subscription is for, but perhaps we are looking at the Xbox 360 model where the console itself is highly affordable, but you will have to fork out some dough to enjoy Xbox LIVE Gold.
