Asus made some major announcements at Computex already as they unveiled their VivoPC, a new Transformer Pad Infinity, FonePad Note FHD 6, and MeMo Pad HD 7. In addition to unveiling a variety of products, Asus is also showing off a new PC peripheral called the VivoMouse.

The Asus VivoMouse is a combination wireless mouse and desktop touchpad, which happens to feature multi-touch support. The entire body of the VivoMouse looks to be made out of a metallic material and is curved to offer ergonomic support when in use. Asus is calling the peripheral the “world’s first” mouse and touchpad combination as it can be used in a variety of ways ranging from simple desktop use up to use with a home theater system thanks to its thumb control and circular touchpad.

Asus’ VivoMouse will support both Windows 7 and Windows 8, such as swipe gestures, scrolling with two fingers and pinch-to-zoom, and is expected to be made available in Q3 2013. As for pricing, Asus has yet to announce just how much it’ll cost you for this mouse / touch pad hybrid peripheral.
