Earlier this month, we did talk about how Killzone: Mercenary closed multiplayer beta had started to accept sign ups, and needless to say, those sign ups were concluded a short while ago. For those who managed to get in, you ought to be in possession of the necessary information in order to jump in and get going. For those who were on the receiving end of a multiplayer Beta voucher which happened to be part of the promotion via PlayStation Home, do take note that your voucher is meant for the Open Beta in late August, and not for the closed Beta that will launch later today.

As for the rest of you who did not manage to get in, or so happened to hear about it right now, fret not – the multiplayer beta will be opened right on up in late August, so do stay tuned for the details. After all, most folks should prefer a decent open beta, don’t they? In any case, it would be wise to mark down September 10th on your respective calendars if you happen to live in the US, since that is when Killzone: Mercenary will arrive on store shelves in that part of the world.
