unlocked-1020The recently unveiled Nokia Lumia 1020 has definitely stirred up its fair share of attention ever since it was revealed to the world, sporting a whopping 41-megapixel camera in the process while running on the Windows Phone 8 platform. We also know that the Nokia Lumia 1020 will eventually end up as an AT&T exclusive in the US this coming July 26th (which ain’t too far away, are you stoked yet?), where it is accompanied by the usual 2-year contract after a $300 payment, and if you are interested, AT&T’s pre-order campaign will kick off tomorrow.

As for the rest of the world, you will have to wait until the end of September before the Nokia Lumia 1020 arrives. But what about those of you who do not want to remain stuck under the tyranny of a 2-year contract, and prefer to pick up your phone unlocked from the onset? Negri Electronics has got your back here, where pre-orders for the unlocked Nokia Lumia 1020 has opened with a whopping $735.50 price point, sans a shipping date. Would you be willing to fork out that kind of dough just to ensure you are one of the early adopters?
