apple-storeThefts at Apple retail stores aren’t exactly a rarity, especially given how much Apple products are worth and their demand, although in this case it’s something of a funny story because not only did the thief get caught, but he was caught because while stealing an iPhone from the Apple retail store, he left behind his Samsung Galaxy phone in the process. The crime was committed at a Springfield wireless store and while the thief managed to get away, his Samsung Galaxy phone which was left behind was what led the authorities to him which ultimately led to his arrest. They used the suspect’s phone subscription to track him down, and a quip from The Washington Post had left us chuckling, “No word on whether he was seeking an upgrade.”
