Last week we reported that thanks to a trailer spotted on Steam, it was suggested that SNK Playmore’s The King of Fighters 13 title would be making its way onto Steam. Well for those who loved the arcade and console version of the game and would love to play it on their PC, you’re in luck as it has been announced that The King of Fighters 13 will be arriving on Steam come 13th of September. The game will be priced at $29.99, but for now it is being offered at a 17% discount and will be priced at $24.99, although this offer will end come 14th of September.

The PC version of The King of Fighters 13 will come with the same content as its console version, and will include online, tutorial, and story mode. It will also come with Iori with the Power of Flames, NESTS Style Kyo, and Mr. Karate DLC characters which were originally characters part of the console’s DLC version. SNK also claims to have made improvements to the game’s netcode allowing for better communication speeds, and the ability to “tailor your online experience according to your PC environment”, and also gamers can switch to a less intense graphics mode if their computer cannot handle it.

There is a beta test that SNK will be conducting prior to the release and they are recruiting up to 300 players. The beta will begin on the 20th of August and run to the 29th of August, with the signup period ending on the 18th of August, so hit up SNK’s website for the details.
