Valve’s PC gaming platform, Steam, is currently offering the competitive multiplayer game Catch Me! for free for a limited time. PC players can permanently add the title to their digital libraries at no cost until July 17, after which the game will return to its standard retail price.

Developed as an online platformer, Catch Me! is a fast-paced, four-player competitive take on the classic game of tag. The core gameplay revolves around one player attempting to earn points by reaching designated areas on a map while avoiding capture. The remaining three players act as pursuers, attempting to catch the runner. Once a pursuer successfully tags the runner, they assume the running role themselves.

Players can utilize a variety of interactive environmental hazards and parkour-style mechanics to navigate the stages. These features include jumping through windows, climbing rooftops, riding Ferris wheels, and sliding on subways. Runners can also interact with the map to obstruct their pursuers—such as closing windows behind them, unlocking new escape paths, or temporarily stunning opponents with objects.

The game features six distinct maps inspired by major global cities, a variety of customizable character skins, emojis, animations, and a funky soundtrack. While the controls and rules are designed to be easy to learn, mastering the movement mechanics and map layouts provides a high skill ceiling for competitive play.
