Aspire U5_front_leftThe great thing about all-in-one desktop computers is that they tend to take up less space compared to a regular desktop PC, and if you loved Acer’s earlier AIO desktop offering in the form of the Aspire Z3 that was announced back in June, perhaps the company’s Aspire U5 could be of some interest to you. The Aspire U5 is a newly announced all-in-one desktop PC from Acer and will sport a 23” Full HD touchscreen display with a wide viewing angle.

The desktop will be powered by the latest 4th generation Intel Core processors and will support up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM. The desktop will also sport NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 760M GPU that should be decent enough for those who are looking for a little bit of gaming, although hardcore gamers who demand top notch visuals should probably look elsewhere.

The Acer Aspire U5 will also feature CONEQ Sound Technology that will supposedly improve the audio experience by improving the direction of the sound and aim it more towards the listener. The U5 will also pack a built-in webcam and microphone that together with Acer’s Purefied.Voice will allow for tracking of the speaker’s voice while eliminating background noise.

Priced at €1,129, the Acer Aspire U5 will be made available for purchase this December.
