At IFA in Berlin, Acer expanded its mobile lineup with the Predator Atlas 7 (model PA07-I51), a compact 7-inch gaming handheld, alongside an innovative hybrid concept named Project DualPlay Mini.
Running on Windows 11 Home, the Predator Atlas 7 is powered by up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and Intel Arc B390 graphics. The device supports up to 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM and a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. Visuals are delivered through a 7-inch FHD touchscreen featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection with DXC anti-glare treatment.
For thermal efficiency under sustained loads, Acer engineered a dual-fan cooling system utilizing a 0.1 mm ultra-thin Predator AeroBlade metal fan paired with Vortex Flow internal channeling.
The ergonomic chassis features sculpted grips, recessed buttons, and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. Key input and hardware specifications include:
- Controls: Anti-drift TMR joysticks with zero dead zones, Hall-effect analog triggers, and rear macro keys
- Battery: Up to an 80 Wh battery (under 750 g) or an optional 60 Wh variant (under 700 g)
- Connectivity: Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, UHS-II microSD expansion, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4
- Audio: Dual 2W speakers featuring DTS:X Ultra and Acer PurifiedVoice AI noise reduction
Acer also presented Project DualPlay Mini, an 8-inch concept device merging handheld gaming with portable office productivity. Built with a convertible flip-and-swivel chassis, it transforms from a standard console format into a mini laptop featuring an integrated backlit keyboard and external display connectivity. The concept is powered by an Intel platform, incorporates AeroBlade dual cooling, and commemorates Acer’s 50th anniversary with Morse code detailing.
The Predator Atlas 7 launches in EMEA in November 2026 and arrives in North America in Q4 2026.
